  • Umpire State of Mind

In March of 2025 I participated in the annual New Era Design-A-Thon. This design contest is centered around the idea of taking New Era apparel and repurposing it to create something new. Me and three fashion students were tasked with making a sculpture that represented New Era & the history of the company. We competed against 5 other groups in a challenge where each group started with a black mannequin and had 20 hours to craft a sculpture using the mannequin, apparel and various art supplies.

Our group created the piece above titled “Umpire State of Mind” which featured Lady Liberty with various baseball related items. She is standing over home plate with a baseball in her right hand and her left arm turned into a wooden baseball bat. She has a third fake arm holding a book that lists the three pillars of New Era

We created this piece as an ode to baseball and New York City in an effort to emphasize the impact that those two cultures created surrounding the iconic 59FIFTY cap.

  • Florae

    Florae

Florae is an indoor terrarium meant for creating a climate controlled environment fit to house any kind of plant. This terrarium is also fitted with an air filter so as the plants release oxygen it will blow through the filter and act as an air purifier.

I created this product with a group of my peers for a project in an advertising class. We were prompted to create a new invention that involved air. We then had to create advertisements for our product. We had to consider the target audience for our product and create advertisements that were not only appealing but also practical for our audience.

We determined our target audience was renters in dense urban areas. This is the audience we focused on because our product could provide access to gardening space and clean air. We pitched this to the public with street and public transport ads. Most of the people that our product was geared towards would occupy these spaces.

We also created a mock app which gave users instructions on how to care for their plants and their terrarium.

  • SnapGear

    SnapGear

SnapGear is a fictional camera company that I created for my visual communications final. I was tasked with creating logos and mockups for this company.

SnapGear is a company that provides consumers with access to photography accessories at an affordable price. New photographers often struggle to achieve satisfaction in their work because they feel limited by the capability of their equipment. The accessories that SnapGear provides gives new users the ability to achieve results similar to those that only more expensive equipment can provide.

  • Spacebar Deluxe

    Spacebar Deluxe

The Spacebar Deluxe is a fictional product I made for an animation project. For this project we created the branding for a product and mapped it onto a product box in Blender. I leaned into a cartoonish outer-space design to pair with the idea of the product being a giant space bar.

  • Wildfire Billboard

    Wildfire Billboard

I made this billboard as a final for my visual communications class. We were assigned to create a graphic in support of a cause that we’re passionate about. At the time there were wildfires spreading across Canada so I decided to make a billboard to spread wildfire awareness. I chose graphical elements such as the burnt corner and the large flame to reinforce the theme of addressing wildfire spread.
