  • Animated Logo

I took a logo that I made for myself in Blender and made a rotating animation with it. I extruded the logo to make it three dimensional and keyframed it rotating. I used compositing effects to create the blur effect while it rotates.

  • Vintage Animation

I made this animation as a study of vintage motion graphics. I took the ending of the “Berger Paint Colorizer 420” ad by Robert Abel and Associates from 1977 and remade it in Blender.

I found a similar font and added the text into Blender. I then animated the letters along a path. I used copies and compositing to create the glow and afterimages. I then put my rendered video into ntsc-rs and applied a noise filer over the video to emulate the grain.

  • Immersive Video

This is an animation that I made during a studio animation course. I made this animation in Blender while experimenting with geometry nodes. I used geometry nodes to make this abstract repeating pattern. I then used a variety of animated shaders, lights, and compositing effects to create the changing colors and spinning effect.

  • Gym Rules

I made this animation for a project in a studio animation class. I was assigned the task of making an animated infographic which presented boring information in an interesting manner. My mind instantly went to the rule sheets that are posted outside the basketball courts in gyms like LA Fitness. I took some of those posted rules and made an animation that presented them in a fun and engaging matter.

I animated this entirely in blender by first modeling the gym and then animating my characters. I then adjusted lighting and added floating text and camera movement using keyframes. I created this by making 3 separate animations and then editing them together for the full video.

  • VJ Loops

I created this abstract animation as a personal project during an intro to 3D course. I used modifiers and keyframes to turn a sphere into the abstract flowing shape shown in the animations. I then used keyframes to animate the colors and added in some compositing effects for a stronger glow.

  • Ceramics

    Ceramics

This animation was from one of my first Blender projects. For this project I learned how to model and texture basic ceramic items. I then created a cyclorama with accurate lighting and made a short animation showing off my ceramics.

  • Molecule

    Molecule

I made this 3D animation of the molecule ethane in Blender. I created this ball and stick model using simple shaders with spheres and cylinders. I added lights above and below the model and then animated the spinning.

  • WWE Stage Low Poly Animation

    WWE Stage Low Poly Animation

I made this animation in Blender to showcase my ability to use Blender’s particle systems. I built this scene in reference to an actual WWE stage design using UV mapped images and textures. I used a particle system to create the fire and smoke on the stage. I lit the scene using spotlights and a fog volume.
